26 Explorer Scouts enjoyed a night of karting at TYKE RACING in Barnsley, lots of Squeals (Grace), crashes (just about everyone), and plenty of thrills.
Just to add to the drama the track was wet, so loads of spray added to the evening as everyone donned special wet track overalls, firstly practice heats for everyone just to get used to the karts and then three heats, followed by three finals (SLOW, NOT SO SLOW and MANIAC) based on best lap times. Max ran out the eventual winner overall.
I am sure there will be some sore and aching bones this morning, given the amount of crashes. Special mention to Erin and Elsie for redesigning the track boundaries in several places.
